Tomorrow’s the Big Day

For anyone unaware of what’s been going on in my life regarding my two-year-old, Riley, here’s how you can get caught up if you’re interested.

It’s go time. Last week we had the final blood work done to make sure all was well with her before the procedure. They also gave us masks and hairnet things to get her familiar with it.

She was a pro before we left.

Words cannot express the emotions and thoughts running through my mind–through our minds right now.

This weekend has been rough. Tomorrow will be rough. Doing what we can to keep our mind off of things—watching funny shows/movies, mindlessly surfing social media, etc.

Tonight, our girls said goodbye and got one last hug before Riley’s surgery because they won’t see each other in the morning.

Thanks for your continued support and prayers/thoughts/well wishes. We can use all that we can get.

I’ll share an update tomorrow once she’s out of surgery and in recovery.
